Heartbeat has seven morale-building programs for wounded service members and their families. We have a program for every family member: warrior, spouse, and child. Morale building improves warriors’ health. It shows them how much we appreciate their sacrifices, and it tells them, “You aren’t alone.”

The Christmas Wish program brings joy during a difficult time for many wounded warriors. Organizations and individuals “adopt” a warrior for Christmas by buying gifts or donating funds for gifts on a wish list. It’s an unforgettable experience for warriors and donors alike.
Christmas Dinner is a favorite event of wounded service members who are without family during the holidays. Heartbeat’s volunteers make and serve delicious homemade meals in an atmosphere of much-needed joy. For many service members, Heartbeat is family.
For Heartbeat’s Christmas Stocking program, volunteers create large, beautiful, handmade stockings. Later, other volunteers fill them with impressive gadgets and treats. All the stockings are then delivered to wounded warriors all over.
