Heartbeat—Serving Wounded Warriors staff

Janice Buckley Janice is Heartbeat’s only full-time staff. She is founder and president of the organization. For nearly 10 years, Janice has been a tireless advocate of our men and women in the military. The journey that led her to Heartbeat began in 2001.

Theresa Roberts, retired Sgt. Maj. Theresa is one of Heartbeat’s two staff members. All others are volunteers. She works part time as our volunteer coordinator and project assistant. A great asset to Heartbeat, she is responsible for more than 250 volunteers. Before she retired, Theresa served in the Army for 28 years. She also holds a master’s degree in health care administration. Theresa volunteered here for a couple of years before we were fortunate enough to hire her. Very dedicated — she continues to volunteer during her off time.
